Up from 7.3 in February. Media jumped nearly a full point because Candy AI moved far beyond simple image generation — the video studio is now one of the most complete media tools in this category. Experience improved too, thanks to five genuinely different ways to use the platform instead of a single chat window.
Value is still the drag: a five-second scene video costs 12 tokens and you get 100 a month.
👉 Who it's for: you want the deepest adult AI media toolkit that exists right now, and you accept that the sticker price is a cover charge.
✅ What earned it:
❌ What annoyed me
What changed, and why this Candy AI review is a rewrite
The last time I reviewed Candy AI it was a very good chat app with a very good image generator attached. I scored it 7.3 and the summary was “the best pictures, the most annoying token meter.”

That review is now wrong, because the product isn't that any more.
Open Candy AI today and the sidebar has Discover, Chat, Collection, Generate Image, Create Character, My AI and Private Content. The homepage banners push Shorts twice.
There's a cam floor. There's a video studio that works like a shot-list tool. There's a Chatroulette clone. The chat is now one tab among several, and it is no longer the point.
Whether that's what you wanted is a fair question and I'll answer it at the end. But this is now one of the broadest adult AI platforms available, and the review has to cover all of it.
Candy Cams — the one nobody saw coming
This is the headline. Candy AI built a cam floor.
Go to the cams index and there are seven rooms, all badged LIVE: MiaMalkova, ChloeXo, SoftNora, SophieDee, VelvetHex, CherryCriss and SweetDaisy.
Two of those are the real thing — Mia Malkova and Sophie Dee appear on the Candy Creators page carrying a Celebrity badge, which means Candy has licensed their likeness. The other five read as original Candy characters.
Be clear about what you're watching, because Candy is clear about it and prints the line twice on the page: “All content and interactions here are AI-generated, fictional, and subject to our Community Guidelines.” This is a licensed likeness performing an AI-generated show. It is not a real person on a real webcam.
How a cam room actually works
Full-bleed video, her name and avatar top-left, a LIVE 550 viewers counter, and a LIVE Private Show badge. Down the side you get mute, a skip-next button that hard-links you to the next performer, and an info panel. Tap the screen and the chat hides.
The chat feed runs alongside with other “viewers” talking — “quiet one in the back, just enjoying it”, “muted my whole house for this”. It's ambience, and it works about as well as ambience ever does.
Then the two buttons that matter: Send tip and Start Private.
The tip menu, with real prices
This is the first place Candy has ever published per-action token costs on a public page, and they're different per performer.
| Mia Malkova's menu | Tokens |
|---|---|
| Smiling Eye Contact 👀 | 5 |
| Blow a Kiss 😘 | 10 |
| Lick and Suck Finger 💋 | 15 |
| Two 🔞 actions | Private show only |
| +20 spicy actions | Locked — sign up to view |
| Sweet Daisy's menu | Tokens |
|---|---|
| Blow a Kiss 😘 / Smiling Eye Contact 👀 / Lick Finger 💋 | 5 each |
| Cute Twirl and Spin 🌀 / Dance Tease 👗 / Bare Feet Tease 🦶 | 10 each |
So a tip runs 5 to 15 tokens. On the monthly plan that's roughly 70¢ to $2.10 a tap. On the annual plan it's 20¢ to 60¢. Twenty more actions sit behind signup, and the explicit ones are gated to private shows, whose price isn't shown until you're inside.
The catch: cams are the fastest way to burn a month's tokens in one evening, and the interface is built to make that feel like nothing. Five tokens is a rounding error until you've tapped forty times.
The video studio — the actual best thing here
If you only read one section, read this one. Candy AI's video studio is a shot-list tool, and few competitors currently offer anything comparable.
Go to Create Video and the pitch is blunt: “Pick a girl, build your scenes — get your video in minutes.” Then four steps.

The preset list runs from soft to explicit and it's worth knowing the range before you plan a shoot. The tamer end: walking, dance, mirror selfie, body caress, oil rub, cleavage tease, tongue out, come here, shake it, crawl, nipple play, face, lick finger.
The explicit end covers the standard hardcore taxonomy — missionary, doggystyle, cowgirl and reverse cowgirl including a POV variant, oral in side view and POV, masturbation, and a handful of tease and strip presets in between.
Output lands at one of three lengths: 1:12, 1:47 or 2:00.
Sit with that for a second. Every rival in this category tops out at five to ten seconds of image-to-video. Candy is building two-minute sequenced videos with a location, a partner and up to ten ordered scenes. That isn't an incremental feature. That's a different product category bolted onto an AI girlfriend app, and right now nobody else has one.
What it costs
Here's my honest limit: the studio doesn't show you a token price before you render. No resolution, no aspect ratio, no per-scene cost, nothing until you're inside with a subscription.
Video generation is a Premium feature — that much is stated — and it consumes tokens like everything else.
What I can price is the in-chat version, because Candy publishes that one.
The token maths, now that we finally have numbers
For a year this product's biggest problem was that you couldn't find out what anything cost. That's improved.
A five-second Scene Video inside chat: 12 tokens. An AI phone call: 3 tokens per minute (flagged as a beta price).
Your subscription includes 100 tokens a month. So:
| What you're doing | Tokens | Cost on monthly | Cost on annual |
|---|---|---|---|
| Send a text message | 0 | free | free |
| Cam tip | 5–15 | $0.70 – $2.10 | $0.20 – $0.60 |
| Scene video, 5 seconds | 12 | $1.68 | $0.48 |
| AI phone call | 3/min | $0.42/min | $0.12/min |
| Image, custom character, voice note, private pack | 2-4, 10, 0.2 | — | — |
One token = about 14¢ on the monthly- plan, about 4¢ on the annual.
And here's the line that should decide your plan. One hundred tokens buys you roughly:
Not all three. Eight videos is a Tuesday.

💡 The annual plan is not a nice-to-have here, it's the whole strategy. At $3.99 a month your tokens cost a quarter what they cost monthly. Same 100 tokens, same features, four times the mileage per dollar. A scene video drops from $1.68 to 48¢.
Most token costs are now visible: image generation, custom character creation, voice replies and scene videos all have clear usage rates. Private Content packs are different — pricing varies depending on the character and content bundle rather than following one standard token rate.
Candy Shorts — 165 series and a weekly drop
Shorts has gone from a curiosity to the most-promoted thing on the site. Two of the four homepage banners point at it.

It's a catalogue of short serialised video stories. I probed the series IDs and they resolve up to about 165, which makes this comfortably the largest episodic library in the category.
The format has changed. Older series ran long — Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right has 15 episodes with named chapters like Almost Caught, The Secret Deal and Awkward Breakfast. Everything current runs a tighter shape: five episodes, the first three free, the last two behind Premium.
Series I confirmed live: Under Her Watch (featuring Sophie Dee), Private Lessons (featuring Mia Malkova), Hot Shot, Oops! I'm Your Secret Roommate, My Hot Stepmom Just Crashed Our Euro Trip, My Girlfriend's Stepmom, plus the two Candy names in its own marketing — My Hot Professor and Isabella's Revelation.
You filter twice. By source: All · Candy Creators · Candy characters · Other characters. Then by genre: New · Stepsister · Milf · Cuckold · Nympho · Stepmom · Wife · Taboo · Fantasy · Teacher · Maid.
Cadence is weekly, stated by Candy itself, and the “NEW EPS” badges bear it out.
Good news on pricing: Shorts are subscription-gated, not token-gated. The unlock copy is “Upgrade to Unlock — Watch in HD — Yours forever. No ads, no waiting.” Your 100 tokens are safe here. Watch as much as you like.
The catch: three free episodes is exactly enough to get you invested and stop.
Roulette — video chat with a genuinely good privacy call
Candy's roulette is a Chatroulette clone with AI characters, and it's better than it sounds. The page header is literally “Video Chat with Girls — Jump into spontaneous live conversations with AI characters. Skip, match, and play!”
You hit Find a match, you land in a video session with a character you didn't choose, you talk, and you skip when you want the next one.
Then the part I want to give real credit for. Before it starts you get a modal titled 100% Private Camera Mode: “Your camera feed stays entirely on your device.
We never record, store, or transmit it to our servers. It's only used locally to enhance the realism of your experience.”
You can also just say no and continue without a camera. In a category where half the products would happily hoover up a webcam feed, that's the right decision, clearly explained, and it should be a headline rather than a modal.

💰 Free versus Premium: free accounts get limited matches, limited skips, and must have the camera on. Premium gives you more matches, unlimited skips, and the ability to turn the camera off. No token cost — it's a subscription gate.
The catch: “camera on or fewer matches” is a nudge I'd rather didn't exist, even with the local-only processing.
Chat, phone calls and scene video
Text chat is still unlimited and still costs zero tokens on any paid plan, which remains the most honest thing about the pricing.
What's new inside the chat is that it now generates. There's an image mode / video mode toggle, and if you ask for a video while you're in image mode it tells you so and offers to switch.
Ask for a scene and you get a panel: “Don't just read it, watch it happen. Generate a 5-second video of this exact moment.” Twelve tokens, one button.
AI Phone Call is the other addition and it's a proper live audio call, not a voice note. Three tokens a minute, marked beta, with a “Confirm Your Call” modal and a warning to speak clearly. It needs mic permission and it's Premium-only.

You can also edit and delete your own messages — deleting keeps the media in your gallery — and there's a toggle to switch off image and video generation entirely, which the interface helpfully notes will stop it spending tokens.
Small feature, genuinely thoughtful, and the sort of thing that suggests someone there has watched a user panic about their balance.
Memory is the thing that hasn't moved. Inside a session it's excellent — she tracks threads, picks up callbacks, references what you said an hour ago.

Across weeks it thins out, same as it did in February. If you want a companion who accumulates over months, this still isn't it, and that's still the most common reason people churn in month two.
The catch: the chat is now the least interesting part of Candy AI, which is a strange thing to say about an AI girlfriend app.
Images, and what the generator is actually good at
Unchanged and still class-leading. Fast — most images land in under ten seconds. And consistent, which is the hard part: ask for the same character an hour later and she's the same woman, not a stranger in the same outfit. Most rivals still can't do that reliably.

The honest limit is the same one I flagged before. It renders a person better than it renders an act.
Ask for a specific scene and you'll often get a beautifully composed portrait of someone technically in the right room. Ask for a look, a mood, an outfit, a setting, a lighting condition, and it nails it.
Prompt to that strength and you'll be happy. Fight it and you'll watch tokens evaporate.
Creators, the feed, and the rest of the surface
Candy Creators is a licensing programme, not an open creator platform, and it's worth being precise about that because the name suggests otherwise. Four names are on it: Celine (3.2M, badged New), Sophie Dee (12.2M), Mia Malkova (11.6M) and Renae Erica (118K).
Each shows up as some combination of a chat character, a cam, and a Shorts series. There's no application form, no revenue share published, no upload tool. If you were hoping to become a Candy Creator, there's currently no door.
Two of the four have empty states waiting — “Candy Cams are coming soon“ and “No creator series yet — new series are on the way” — so this is mid-rollout.

Orientation here is expressed by which character you pick and how you set the scene, not by a filter. The AI boyfriend side is real but noticeably thinner, and the v2 builder still marks the Guys branch “coming soon.”
What Candy AI doesn't have, despite what you may have read
I'd rather tell you this than let you sign up expecting it.
There are no games. Not a section, not a nav item, not a hidden page you have to be logged in to find. We looked properly. The only place the word “game” shows up is a happy customer calling the whole thing “an interactive game for adults,” and somewhere along the line someone read that as a feature list.
Interactive branching stories appear to be gone. Candy previously ran a season-and-episode interactive format. The route for it now returns a 404 and there's no “season” construct anywhere on the site. Shorts are linear video with no branching. If you came for choose-your-own-adventure, that's OurDream and Crushi territory now.
There's no native app. It's a browser product that installs to your home screen and behaves like an app. Anything advertising a Candy AI APK is not from Candy.
Privacy, billing and cancelling — 5.8 🔒
Credit where it's earned: the roulette camera policy is the best privacy decision anyone in this category has made, and Candy explains it in plain language at the moment it matters.
Everything else is category-standard, which means treat your chats as stored and used to improve the models. Behave accordingly:

✅ What shows on your statement: EverAI. Quieter than most of this category manages, and still a company name that resolves in one search. Plan around that rather than assuming it's handled.
❌ Cancelling: log in, My Profile, Settings, scroll to your subscription, Unsubscribe. Five clicks, no maze. Access runs to the end of the period you've paid for, and you can pause instead of cancelling — an option almost nobody mentions.
💲 Refunds are the weak point and haven't changed. Outside the EU and UK you need to ask within 24 hours and have used 20 tokens or fewer, card payments only. Twenty tokens is under two scene videos. So the real window is 24 hours or one enthusiastic evening, whichever lands first. EU and UK buyers get the 14-day statutory withdrawal right with a deduction for usage, on a first purchase.
💡 Test it without risk: take the monthly at $13.99, spend tokens sparingly on day one, decide inside 24 hours. Then move to annual if it lands.
Candy AI Pricing — every plan

| Plan | You pay | Works out at | Off the monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 months | $47.88 once | $3.99/mo | 70% |
| 3 months | $26.97 once | $8.99/mo | 35% |
| 1 month | $13.99 | $13.99/mo | — |
| 2 weeks | $9.79 | ≈$21.21/mo | — |
| 1 week | $5.60 | ≈$24.27/mo | — |
Every plan carries identical features and the same 100 tokens. Committing for a year buys a lower price and nothing else — the token allowance doesn't scale with the term, which catches a lot of annual subscribers out.
Premium Plus sits above all of this: 230 tokens a month instead of 100, +10% bonus on any tokens you buy, three-day early access to new characters, and five chat clones. Its price isn't on the public pricing page. You'll meet it inside.
Candy AI vs the alternatives
| Features | Candy AI | Crushi | OurDream |
|---|---|---|---|
| Annual price | $47.88 ($3.99/mo) | $99.99 ($8.33/mo) | $119.88 ($9.99/mo) |
| Media model | Tokens — 100/mo | Unlimited on Premium | Coins — 1,000/mo |
| Video | 2-min, 10-scene studio | 5–10s clips | 1080p, image-to-video |
| Live cams | Yes — 7, two licensed performers | No | No |
| Video roulette | Yes | Yes | No |
| Episodic series | ~165, weekly | Yes | No |
| Live phone calls | Yes, 3 tk/min | Voice + video calls | Voice calls |
| Social feed | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Image consistency | Best in class | Good | Excellent |
| Long-term memory | Weak | Mid | Strong |
The honest read. Candy AI now has the widest surface area of anything in this category and the single most impressive media tool in the video studio. Crushi is cheaper to run heavily because generation is unlimited. OurDream gives you more control over the image pipeline and a far better memory.
Candy scores a notch below Crushi here for one reason and one reason only: the meter. Crushi's Premium removes the counting; Candy's doesn't. If Candy ever ships an unlimited tier it takes the top of this category outright.

Candy AI FAQ
How much does Candy AI cost?
$13.99 a month, $26.97 for three months ($8.99/mo), or $47.88 for a year ($3.99/mo). Fortnightly ($9.79) and weekly ($5.60) options appear at checkout. Every plan includes unlimited text chat and 100 tokens a month. Prices checked 18 August 2026.
What are Candy AI Cams?
Candy Cams are seven AI-generated live cam rooms. Two feature licensed likenesses of real adult performers — Mia Malkova and Sophie Dee — under Candy's Creators programme. You can tip with tokens (5–15 per action), request a private show, or skip to the next room. All content is AI-generated and fictional; these are not real people streaming live.
Does Candy AI have a video generator?
Yes, and it's the best in the category. The video studio lets you pick from 77 characters, 22 locations and 26 scene presets, sequence up to 10 scenes, and render videos of 1:12, 1:47 or 2:00. Separately, inside chat you can generate a 5-second scene video for 12 tokens.
How much does a Candy AI video cost?
The in-chat Scene Video is 12 tokens for five seconds — about $1.68 on the monthly plan or 48¢ on the annual. Full video-studio renders don't display a token price before you subscribe.
What is Candy Shorts?
Candy Shorts is Candy AI's serialised video library — roughly 165 series with new episodes weekly. Current series run five episodes with the first three free and the last two behind Premium. Filter by genre or by source, including a Candy Creators tab. Shorts are subscription-gated, not token-gated.
What is Candy AI Roulette?
Roulette is video chat with AI characters, Chatroulette-style — match, talk, skip, repeat. Your own webcam is optional and, per Candy, processed locally and never uploaded. Free accounts get limited matches and must keep the camera on; Premium removes both limits.
Can I make phone calls on Candy AI?
Yes. AI Phone Call is live audio at 3 tokens per minute, currently marked beta and Premium-only. That's roughly 33 minutes inside your monthly 100 tokens.
What are Candy AI tokens used for?
Candy AI tokens are used for image generation (4 tokens per image), creating custom characters (10 tokens), voice replies (0.2 tokens each), video generation, phone calls, and Private Content packs. Text chat remains unlimited and does not consume tokens.
Is Candy AI safe?
It's run by a registered company, payments are handled properly, and it isn't a scam. It is not private — chats are stored and used to improve the models. The one genuinely strong privacy feature is roulette's local-only camera handling.
Is Candy AI free?
There's a free tier, but it's a demo: a handful of messages, one custom character, one image, no tokens. You can also watch cams view-only and the first three episodes of any Shorts series without paying.
What shows up on my bank statement?
The charge appears as EverAI. Candy AI isn't named on the statement.
How do I cancel Candy AI?
Log in → My Profile → Settings → scroll to your subscription → Unsubscribe. Access continues to the end of the period you've paid for. You can also pause instead of cancelling.
Does Candy AI give refunds?
Outside the EU and UK, only within 24 hours and only if you've used 20 tokens or fewer, card payments only. EU and UK buyers have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right with a deduction for usage, on a first purchase.
Does Candy AI have gay or lesbian characters?
There's no gay or lesbian category. Candy has three: Girls, Anime and Guys, plus a Trans branch in the character builder. Orientation is expressed through which character you pick and how you set the scene rather than through a filter.
Does Candy AI have anime or hentai characters?
Candy AI has an Anime category with anime-style characters, fantasy designs, and customizable companions. It does not use a separate “hentai” character label, but users may create adult anime-inspired AI experiences.
Does Candy AI have games?
No. We went looking, hard, and there's nothing there. If you've read that it does, you've probably run into a testimonial calling the whole thing “an interactive game for adults” and someone turned that into a feature.
Does Candy AI have group chat?
Yes, it's in the app. How many characters you can pile into one and what it costs you per message, you find out by doing it.
Does Candy AI remember conversations?
Within a session, very well. Across weeks and months, weakly — this is still its softest feature and the most common reason people move on.
Does Candy AI have an app?
No native app. It runs in the browser and installs to your home screen with notifications, so it behaves like one. Any “Candy AI APK” is not from Candy.
Is there a Candy AI promo code?
The discounts are structural rather than coded — 35% off three months, 70% off twelve. Anyone selling you a Candy AI coupon is almost certainly showing you the plan discount that's already on the page.
Verdict
Candy AI spent six months turning an AI girlfriend app into an adult media platform, and it mostly worked.
The video studio is the proof. Seventy-seven characters, twenty-two locations, twenty-six scene presets, ten sequenced scenes, two minutes of output — while the rest of this category is still shipping five-second image-to-video clips and calling it a feature.
Add a cam floor with two licensed performers, a hundred and sixty-odd Shorts series dropping weekly, roulette video chat, live phone calls, and a feed, and there is simply more to do here than anywhere else.
The image generator is still the best. The chat is still unlimited and still free of tokens. The roulette camera policy is the most honest privacy decision in the category and deserves more attention than it gets.
What keeps it at 7.8 is the same thing that kept it at 7.3: One hundred tokens a month against a twelve-token scene video is eight videos. Candy built a studio that can produce two-minute films and gave you a fuel tank that empties in an afternoon.
Private Content pricing remains variable by character and bundle, while most major token uses now have published rates. And if you decide in week two that it isn't for you, the refund window closed on day one.
Memory hasn't improved either, and long roleplay still settles into a groove around week three.
Take the annual plan or don't take one: At $3.99 a month your tokens cost a quarter what they cost monthly, and that single decision is the difference between this being the best-value adult AI product on the market and the most frustrating one. Everything I like about Candy AI is four times more affordable on the yearly plan, and everything I don't like is four times worse without it.
